Sheltered in place, not in mind
Our current humanity has never lived through a global crisis this paramount before. Brene Brown says, “This pandemic experience is a massive experience in collective vulnerability. We can be our worst selves when we’re afraid, or our very best, bravest selves.”
There’s no denying the seriousness and scariness of the COVID-19 pandemic. We’re learning how to manage this New Normal day by day.
But staying home doesn’t have to be a prison sentence. There’s a lot to do to become more productive, creative, and loving towards others and ourselves.
Miraculously, being forced to stay indoors is allowing us to sit, reflect and be present with those we live with, in a way we could have previously been a little better at.
We can each come out of this turbulent period with a more optimistic spirit and a resilient mindset.
When the work is done, we can be as deliberate with our free and alone time. We can be creative or get inspired to do so.
Getting through being sheltered in place
The content below has helped me to heal, reflect, think critically, or aspire to create life on my own terms.
Some of them help you tap into your deepest self, others are about food and lifestyle. Either way, I hope any or all of them help you to live a more glamorous life, especially at home these crazy days.
Here are my content suggestions to get you through this precarious time of being sheltered in place:
