How our collaboration began
Naazneen Fakhri & I met through a social media marketing course at Stanford’s School of Continuing Education in 2020 (sigh, 2020). The class was led by Giselle Sevgi, a knowledgeable instructor & tech industry veteran. Giselle taught us tactics to strengthen our personal branding throughout social media. I’m still applying a lot of what I learned from the class to Life Glamorized. I loved the learning community and loved the connections I got to make, like with Naazneen, of course.
Naazneen and I hit it off and before the class ended, she let me know about a big project she was working on with her sisters Sana & Shabana Lakdawala. We kept in touch and then formalized our partnership during the lead up to Lakdawala’s e-commerce site being launched.
